An unexpected note of thanks...

I just wanted to share a message that I received out of the blue today under the subject line Thank you, sir!

Jack the Nimble,
Thanks for your posting on the Inventor's Pot Forum (funny name!)
I just got a letter from dear old Media Corp and I went "Wow!" then I instantly thought… "uh, wait a minute here… this has gotta be a scam, I better check this out"
Well, sure enough, there's your posting… and many others.

But wait! There's more!
They have ONE, yes, ONE solitary success story on their site.
The GPS Pal.
Huh!

Sigh…
It's the same old inventor's scam - we all want to be appreciated for our great ideas, and when someone appreciates us we are tempted to throw our brains out and run off wildly in all directions.

One good note: their letter will provide good fire-starter for our woodstove.

I explained that the name of the site is actually "Inventor Spot" and went on to tell a little anecdote of a similar mistake there with another poster named "Nudesign" whom I had been referring in brief as "Nude" until someone pointed out that the name was "Nu design". Anyway, I suggested to this person that he should consider joining this forum. Hopefully he'll show up one day soon!
