Selling to retailers....are you up to speed? Empty Selling to retailers....are you up to speed?

Hey everyone! Happy to be here at the UIA forum! As many of you know, I help inventors get their products ready for retail but I see all too often many inventors calling on retailers without being properly prepared? Question - what do you think the most important elements are of a well prepared invention that you want to bring to retail? Love to hear what you think....Jim

Packaging is a huge key to retail success! And yes, having the right price point can make or break a product for sure. Another huge thing is having a deep knowledge of what retail buyers want and how to approach them. Many inventors feel that telling their stories of how their invention came to be and their struggles will help them to induce the buyer to issue an order but that never really helps. Retailers are in business to make money....and while an inventor may have a great story, that does not matter when it comes to doing business with them.

Hi Jim,
Can you help me draft a letter that introduces our product as well as addresses the issues that hinder me? (MOQ, FOB) are these shipping terms?
i am re-designing boxes now and will go with picture quality, any do's/dont's on boxes?
Thank you so much for being there.
